Instructor Kristina Karitinou is one of the very few people in the world who is fully certified to teach Ashtanga Yoga by Sri. K Pattaabhi Jois, and because of this she is a well known and respected teacher. Triopetra Yoga Retreat center runs ongoing Ashtanga Yoga Retreats from February to October or November. The daily schedule starts with a morning Ashtanga (Mysore-self paced but with an instructor to help and correct you) class six days a week, and then an optional one at 6pm. There are also face treatments, thai massage, ayurvedic massage, vedic astrology readings are also available for you to book. There are so many activities to do during your free time, too. Accommodations are shared or private and they also have a house available for a larger group of people. Please note the accommodations are not onsite with the shala but rather a short walk. The food is served from their restaurant called the Soul Kitchen with Chris Clark, who I hear is an outstanding vegetarian and vegan chef. Something to note: when booking, if you are wanting to learn from Kristina please ensure she will be present, as she does travel and her husband takes over classes, while she is away.
