Prema Shanti Yoga and Meditation Retreat, Cape Tribulation, Queensland, Australia

Every morning begins with a meditation class here at Prema Shanti in Australia. This retreat center is surrounded by beauty- on the edge of the Great Barrier Reef and the world’s oldest rainforest makes this an ideal meditation practice location. Mara and Janardhan, a husband and wife yoga instructor duo, own this retreat center. Their dream was to establish a welcoming place where all those who are interested can come and learn. They created a get away from the everyday, some have no tv’s or internet, just nature. Accommodations vary a little with some more basic and some deluxe. Everything is very eco friendly so water conservation is practiced, don’t expect a long hot shower every morning.  Again this is another basic accommodations that some would say is a bit rustic, but some would say is needed for proper yoga philosophy. This is a spiritual place with warm guests and staff.
