Join Holismos for a beautiful week of yoga, meditation and traditional Greek dance in the beautiful island of Kephalonia, Greece. It’s the perfect place for your holiday, a chance to get a break from everyday’s routine and have lots of fun. You will practice Hatha Yoga and enjoy learning Traditional Greek Dance with Stavros, experienced Dance teacher. Reconnect yourself to nature, enjoy the wonderful Mediterranean sea and flavor the delicious Greek food. A real treat!


Description of Accommodations: The accommodation is beautiful, set amidst a breath-taking landscape. The Terra Mare Hotel (2 Stars) was first built and opened its doors in 1989. It was constructed in the fashion of a small village where people could enjoy a more relaxing and peaceful holiday. There total of 12 buildings situated amongst 2000sq. m of land, the garden is full of flower, olive and fruit trees. There is a swimming pool (25m) with lounge area and pool bathrooms. Our restaurant is famous all over the island for the fabulous and delicious food it serves. You can relax in the outdoor pool bar with large wooden deck, where you can enjoy all kind of dinks or, if you like, you can play sport: there is a full size tennis court and a beach volleyball court. All rooms have private bathrooms, big balconies, TV and fridge. WI-FI free internet available in reception hall.

Instructor Name and Bio: Massimo Cantara
Massimo is originally from Italy. He studied Martial arts and Shiatsu in London, where he lived for ten years. He travelled to Japan several times to broaden his knowledge before returning to Italy. In 1999 founded  “Holismos arti per la salute”, a center for the promotion and practice of alternative and oriental disciplines. He edited the book by Mario-Paul Cassar entitled “In forma con il massaggio” (“Well-being through massage") published in Italy by De Agostini, and has written numerous articles and participated in many conferences and congresses as a speaker. He has worked closely for many years with the Italian Shiatsu Federation, for which he served as member of the board and in the examining commission . He has worked for many years with the National health authority ASL7 in the European Project called "Hospital Without Pain". Since 1995 he has been organizing retreats and yoga courses in various location both, in Italy and Greece. He is a qualified Yoga teacher, Kinesiologist and Cranio Sacral Therapist.

Second Instructor Name and Bio: Stavros Tsapatsaris
Stavros is a yoga and dance teacher, with several years of experience. He has been dancing since the age of 7 and since then he has been able to explore some of the most popular and traditional dances of Greece. During his staying in the north of the country, he joined some famous dance company:  the” Thracian Dance Group”, “The Pontiac Dance Group”, “The Macedonian Dance Group” and “The Ipeirus Dance Group”. In 2003 Stavros moved back to the Mani peninsula, in south Peloponnesus where he teaches Hatha Yoga and dance.

Sample Daily Schedule:
There will be one yoga class in the morning from 8,00 till 10,00 and a dance class in the evening from 18,30 till 20,30.

Instructions for getting there: You can fly to Athen and then can take an internal fligth to the Island of Kephalonia. You can also get a bus from Athen to Patra (3 h) and then a ferry from Patra to Kephalonia (3h)
