This beautiful place sits atop a hill overlooking a many miles long white sand beach. It’s bordered by a turtle refuge and you’ll be surrounded by nature. The accommodations can suit any budget from upscale camping in tents with shared bathrooms to romantic deluxe rooms with beautiful ensuite bathrooms, outdoor showers and air conditioning. There is WiFi available so bring your gadgets if that’s your thing. There are 3 yoga shalas, I hear the skyhall is the favorite of them all at these Costa Rica yoga retreats.
Reviews: A couple of the reviews have indicated that it’s a bit isolated and limited in things to do and see, besides yoga and a beautiful view. Blue Spirit is a 2 hour drive and the last 40 minutes is down a gravel road. Also good to know before going, there is alot of extra expenses for your stay here. The website indicates an extra $500 for things like transportation to and from town, tips for treatments and service, extra food from their cafe. Also know before you go tip- ask for a room far away from the monkeys or take some really good ear plugs, as the howler monkeys keep many guests awake all night.
